The Corporate Advisory Group advises clients across the range of corporate issues faced by present day corporations and is well equipped to handle the increasing complexity of the corporate legal aspects of national and international transactions. Apart from general legal advice on various legislations and positions in law, the Corporate Advisory Group offers its clients legal advice on specific areas of corporate and commercial laws such as incorporation of advice and services, corporate legal advice in the areas of amalgamations, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and liquidation, and advising, structuring, and documenting foreign investment and securities transactions.

Dispute Resolution Group

The Dispute Resolution Group has a very strong and extensive expertise in preventing, pursuing, defending, and resolving conflicts. The services rendered by the Dispute Resolution Group include domestic mediation and conciliation, domestic and international arbitration, corporate and commercial dispute resolution, civil litigation, consumer protection and product liability, money recovery litigation, constitutional and writ litigation in the High Court and Supreme Court of India, intellectual property infringement and rectification actions, environmental and pollution control litigation. The Dispute Resolution Group has a strong team to liaise with quasi-judicial and governmental authorities.

Criminal Law

We advise the Corporate and MNC’s on Criminal Law and represent them before all Criminal Courts. We have acted for clients in a wide range of cases, which include offences against people and property, immigration offences, customs and excise offences, foreign exchange offences, offences under the Companies Act 1956 and offences arising out of dishonor of cheques.

Intellectual Property Group

The Intellectual Property Group has an extensive expertise and experience in all aspects of cross-border acquisition, protection, enforcement, and exploitation of Intellectual Property Rights as well as in licensing, assignment, and transfer agreements. Some of the areas in which the Intellectual Property Group aids clients include- advice on IPR acquisitions, IPR portfolio management and strategizing, drafting, and registering trademark, copyright, and patent applications worldwide, and drafting and negotiating IPR Licensing, franchising and assignment documentation. The Group also has an extensive expertise and experience in handling legal enforcement regarding exploitation of Intellectual Property rights.

Banking and Finance

We offer a wide range of services to borrowers and lenders which includes title opinions, creation and enforceability of mortgages, non-performing assets, and recovery procedures (individual or private) corporate banking transactions, project financing, syndicated loans and other forms of major project funding, housing finance, infrastructure finance and other estate financing.

Real Estate Group

Conducting detailed due diligence activities to identify and quantify commercial risks associated with real estate transactions, negotiating, and drafting lease documents, conveying, documenting, and registering title deeds, converting land use, conducting annual legal audits to ensure statutory compliance, and ensuring compliance with environmental laws, drafting agreement to sale, lease, and license agreements, regarding commercial, retail, and residential properties and registration. We also undertake documentation relating to sale / lease of developed residential and commercial spaces / units, including sale deeds, lease deeds, flat buyer’s agreements, maintenance agreements and other ancillary documents.

Insurance

We undertake the whole range of insurance law practice. We act mainly for insurers and re-insurers and undertake both advisory and litigation work on their behalf. Our areas of practice include motor insurance, industrial insurance, professional negligence, personal injury claims, and fire claims.
